About digithings
We reliably bring embedded projects into series production.
digithings develops embedded software and microelectronics for companies that value quality, predictability, and project success.

The origin
Over 25 years of embedded experience
digithings has its roots in early practice. Thomas Lachtrup began developing software and systems at the age of 16. Out of curiosity and the drive to understand things better, deep experience in embedded software grew across numerous industries over more than 25 years. digithings worked on projects for companies such as Bosch, Hella, Stiebel Eltron, TII Scheuerle, and other industrial partners. Throughout this work, it became clear what truly drives embedded projects forward: structure, experience, and an approach that makes development predictable. digithings was founded to reliably guide embedded projects into series production.
Our mission
Embedded software for products in continuous operation
digithings develops embedded software for systems that must function reliably in everyday use. This includes, for example, heating systems, control units, machinery, connected devices, and much more. The software is structured to run stably and without errors, remaining comprehensible even after years. Instead of heavy frameworks or unnecessary dependencies, the result is lean architectures with clear responsibilities. This ensures the code remains maintainable, even when teams change or projects are handed over at a later stage. This reduces risk, saves development time, and ensures that products actually go into series production.

Our approach
Four principles that make development reliable
digithings develops embedded software and microelectronics according to clear principles. They reduce complexity, make decisions transparent, and ensure that projects are successful.
Headquarters
Our location
digithings is based in Paderborn, a strong technology hub close to industry, research, and development. From Halberstädter Str. 89, we work with companies from all over Germany on embedded projects that go reliably into series production.
